Espion retains ISO certification for quality of information security services
Compliance with industry standard recognises high quality of service delivery
Dublin, Ireland, Tuesday 5th October 2010 - Espion Ltd. has successfully retained the ISO 9001:2008 certification, the internationally recognised quality management system standard. Having initially achieved the ISO 9001:2000 certification in October 2008, Espion is required to pass an annual audit to ensure continued compliance with the standard. Retaining the certification recognises the commitment Espion has to ensuring the delivery of high quality information security services to clients.
To be certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard Espion is required to demonstrate its quality management system. With the emphasis on the client, the system focuses on the consistency and quality of service delivery and looks to identify and implement improvements to meet and exceed client expectations. The ISO 9001:2008 introduces clarifications to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and replaces the previous version of the standard.

Espion employed external auditors SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company to conduct a comprehensive audit. Auditors examined all of Espion’s business and quality systems, including processes, materials documentation practices, and measurement systems for tracking customer satisfaction and supplier performance and confirmed that our systems meet the standards set by governments and standardisation bodies.
