Colman Morrissey

Colman Morrissey has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, and has specialised in Information Security for the past 16 years. Colman has extensive sales and management experience to Director and Board level in Security companies over that time. Colman is the founding Director of Espion Ltd. a company that specialises in security consultancy and distribution of emerging security technologies. Colman founded the Irish Honeynet Project a research project providing hacking figures for the Irish community. Colman also founded the National High Tech Crime Forum, which is currently chaired by the Irish Bankers Federation. Colman has given numerous presentations to seminars, forums and representative groups, and has written extensively on security in the press and in many popular magazine titles.  Colman as the Managing Director of Espion and is ultimately responsible for managing and delivering services, training and forensic investigations to our clients.

Jim Lehane

Jim is a co-founder and Director of Sales for Espion having previously had channel development and enterprise sales roles with eircom.  Since 2001 Jim has taken primary responsibility for the development of the Espion Distribution Brand and channel programme. Espion distribution is now recognised as the primary value added security distributor in Ireland with a very strong partner channel who recognise and draw on the Espion skill base to deliver real value and solutions to their customers. More recently Espion distribution has also successfully launched into wan optimisation, consolidation and enterprise wireless lan solutions.

Jim is charged with driving the distribution side of the business through the introduction of market changing technologies that bring exceptional value to clients and help our channel partners deliver solutions that have a real impact and influence on their clients’ businesses.

Colm Murphy

Colm Murphy, Espion’s Technical Director, has taken primary responsibility for the development and management of Espion’s Digital Forensics & eDiscovery division. He holds a B.A. (Business and Politics) from Trinity College, and a Post Graduate Diploma from Staffordshire University (IT for Strategic Management). He has worked in the ICT industry since 1996 and has specialised in Information Security & Digital Forensics since 1998.

He has lead and managed a range of information security projects in the public and private sectors in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines.  Colm has performed over 200 computer based forensic investigations and has led some of the largest electronic discovery projects conducted to date in Europe. He has presented evidence in court on many occasions. He has written extensively on Information Security, Digital Forensics and eDiscovery. He was appointed an expert evaluator by the European Commission for the Preparatory Action on Security Research in 2007, and the FP7 Security call in 2010.

Colm Fagan

Colm Fagan, Services Director at Espion, has worked in the IT industry in Ireland since 1993 and has specialised in information security since 1997. Colm has extensive experience implementing all aspects of organisational information security programs including Risk Management, Service Delivery, Performance Management, Process Assurance and Business Continuity Planning. Colm has managed Espion’s consultancy team since 2002 and has experience managing the diverse range of requirements from industry clients including delivery of ISO 27001, PCI DSS and BS 25999. Colm also provides consultancy for Espion’s Forensics and Training Departments and has delivered many Forensic investigations and training courses during his tenure at Espion..
